NCCE and National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of the Gambia signed a Memorandum of Understanding, signalling a commitment by both institutions to enhanced co-operation. The MoU which tied together the two institutions in formal collaboration is aimed at increasing citizens’ understanding of Gambia‘s 1997 and Draft 2020 Constitutions, and fundamental Human Rights.
The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday the 27th May 2020 at the NHRC National Secretariat in Kotu. The MoU was signed by Alh. Sering Fye, Chairman of NCCE and Dr. Cherno Barry, Executive Secretary of NHRC.
