Radio and television are widely used in civic awareness creation. The strategy is panel discussions, live phone-ins and the airing of recorded spots and other special activities in which NCCE and other stakeholders are involved.

The expansion and proliferation of newspapers in The Gambia is growing rapidly, and many now reach readers across the country and internationally through online platforms. Engaging citizens through this medium is vital.
NCCE prepares civic education content as newspaper articles and engages journalists to attend civic education forums and awareness campaigns.
